This will be the first meeting of the parish council to take place face to face since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The meeting includes among other items, a planning application on Grants Hill Way and discussion on the appointment of a contractor to run the Community Cafe (this item is expected not to be open to the public).

PC Planning Meeting

Although there was no Parish Council meeting in August there are a number of planning applications in the village that have to be considered.

As a result there will be a Planning Matters meeting of the Parish Council on Thursday 30th August at 7:00pm in the Memorial Hall.

Parish Meeting

24th April 2018 : Memorial Hall : 7:00pm

Each year, the Parish Council hosts an open public meeting to update the residents of the village on things that have gone on in the previous year.

The Council is required to do this under the Local Government Act 1972. Although it is chaired by the Chair of the Parish Council, it is not a Parish Council meeting; it is a meeting for the residents of the parish.

Extra PC Meeting

There will be an extra Parish Council meeting in the Farndon Room at 18:45 on 26th July (before the Central Woodland Management Committee Meeting) to consider some urgent planning applications and Sarafield pavilion heating and Sarafield sewer systems.

2017 Annual Parish Meeting

This year’s Parish Meeting will take place on Tuesday April 25th at 7:00pm in the Memorial Hall.

The Annual Parish Meeting is for the Council (and other local groups) to report back to the electorate on what has been acheived in the previous year. It is separate from Parish Council meetings.
