Parish Council Report : April 2021

The Parish Council met, via Zoom, at 7pm on Tuesday April 13th.

There was a full agenda, and two planning applications were discussed and support given for these.

Council Facilities

The monthly Covid report updated councillors to reflect the change on April 12th, Roadmap out of Lockdown step 2. The Dryden Hall has re-opened as has the Community Library and the Café (for outdoor seating and take away food). The Memorial Hall remains closed due to a burst water pipe.

Spending was approved for a new cupboard in the Library, and for a Damp Proof Survey to be carried out at the Village Centre. A report was given by Councillor Darby regarding the unlawful cutting down of saplings in the Woodland for a “den”. Conditional approval was given to appoint a contractor for the Wetland Top Walk Path.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will be held in May.
