There is not usually a meeting of the Parish Council during August but this year a special meeting was convened in order to consider reopening of parish venues under the current Covid-19 guidance and a number of planning applications.
The meeting also considered:-
- Phase 2 of the street lighting upgrade
- Plans for the Parish Council to take over maintenance of St Mary’s church burial ground.
Here are the minutes of that meeting on 11th August 2020 which took place using Zoom. (Minutes are published here following the subsequent meeting at which they are approved).

About Council Meetings
Meetings are always open to the public. For meetings conducted over Zoom, those wishing to listen in are asked to contact the Chairman beforehand.
The agenda is published before the meetings on this web site and on notice boards around the village. Council meetings are normally on the second Tuesday of each month (except August) at 7:00pm in the Memorial Hall – although currently during the Coronavirus outbreak they are taking place electronically – see here. Dates for forthcoming meetings were included in these minutes.
