New Rector for Woodford Halse

Diocese of Peterboro logoThe Diocese of Peterborogugh is pleased to announce that, following interview and with the agreement of the Bishop, the Lord Chancellor as appointing patron and the parish representatives, the Revered Paul Trathen has been offered and has accepted the invitation to become the Rector of Aston Le-Walls, Byfield, Boddington, Eydon and Woodford Halse (the Fiveways Benefice).

Paul is currently Vicar at St Peter in the Forest, Walthamstow. A date for Paul’s Institution and Induction will be announced in due course.

The Bishop and Archdeacon thank all that helped in the preparation of the profile, arrrangements for interview and for the encouraging and continuing of the ministry during the vacancy.

They ask for your prayers for Paul as he completes his ministry in Walthamstow and prepares to move to Byfield.
