Date To Be Decided At July Meeting
As Woodford now has a community-led library, the village can make the decision when to reopen.
The library has been redecorated during the lock down period.
The plan is to make a decision on reopening at a committee meeting in July and to undertake risk assessments following government guidelines before reopening.
The health and safety of our volunteers and library users are of paramount importance.
Initially there will be restrictions but hopefully we will be able to provide a range of services when it is safe to do so.
Patricia Darby will be contacting all volunteers and updating everyone as soon as possible with a view to reopening the library in September. In the meantime online services provided by NCC are available and the summer reading challenge for children can be accessed online this year.
Other Northamptonshire Libraries
From Monday 6th July some libraries will reopen in Northamptonshire. This includes Daventry library. Their initial opening times will be….
Monday Wednesday and Friday from10 to 4pm
Saturday: Not Open
