Can You Help Plant Some Trees

Renewing The Woodland

Part of the management plan for the Great Central Woodland involves planting new, traditional, native broad leaved trees.

The Great Central Woodland team is are looking for volunteers of all ages to spare a couple of hours on Saturday the 21st March at 10.30 am to help with planting.

This is the the last of hundreds of saplings the Woodland was were given by the Woodland Trust back in November.

There are Wild Cherry, Rowan and Willow to plant down the path opposite the new Memorial Glade then heading down towards the Byfield Road.

It shouldn’t take us long and you are welcome to do a bit of litter picking with us afterwards if you can.  Meet up in the new Memorial Glade near the seats.

If you can come along message Ruth Curzon or text  on 07855040710 if you can join in.
