Councillor Robyn Davison provided this summary of last night’s Parish Council meeting….
“The January meeting of the Parish Council saw a full agenda, covering the setting of this year’s budget and precept, proposed parking restrictions in the older part of the village, reports on the works carried out by both the Great Central Woodland Committee and the Estates Committee, as well as planning applications and a report on the Village Signpost for 2019.
A full and detailed report was given to the council regarding the powers, and work delivered by our sponsored PCSO.
Councillors noted the planning meeting at Daventry District Council on Wednesday January 15th regarding the proposal for a new medical centre at Byfield. Several councillors will be representing the village at this meeting.
The next Parish Council meeting will be on Tuesday February 11th, 7pm at the Memorial hall.”
