Northampton has a lot to offer the music lover. The Northampton Symphony Orchestra has just announced its programme for the coming year with concerts from October onwards and the Northampton Male Voice Choir are kicking off its new season with a “Proms Night” concert on September 28th. Choir Announces New Season with Spectacular Proms Last Night
On Saturday 28 September 2019 the award winning Northampton Male Voice Choir together with stunning soprano, Emily Haig and the outstanding Virtuosi GUS Brass Band will present its annual concert “The Last Night of the Proms” conducted by its charismatic musical director, Stephen Bell. Watch out, when Stephen’s about – absolutely anything can (and often does) happen
The exciting programme will include a fantastic range of music from John Williams’s “Star Wars” to “Dam Busters”, a rousing selection of songs from the 90 strong male choir and a “Last Night” sing-a-long with Emily Haigh with favourites such as Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory.
This promises to be a night simply bursting with music and should not to be missed!!
