Northants County Council Plan For Comment

Northamptonshire County Council has prepared a Rights of Way Improvement Plan in accordance with the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, covering up to the year 2028.

footpath signThe Plan looks at the rights of way network in the county and aims to improve provision for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and those with restricted mobility.

The Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2018 to 2028 has been established following an extensive assessment, consultation and review process and you can now have your say.

The Rights of Way Improvement Plan can be downloaded from the Northamptonshire County Council web site, where you can also find out how to comment. Comments are open for a “Public Representation” period from the 17th June 2019, to Monday 9th September.

Once the period of Public Representation has ended, all feedback will be collated, reviewed and may be used to formulate the final version of the Rights of Way Action Plan.
