Conservation Area Appraisal

You Are Invited

Come along to an exhibition on the possibility of a conservation area in Woodford Halse.

Daventry District Council will carrying out an assessment of whether to designate a conservation area within the village. Conservation Areas are areas of special architectural or historic interest, places where their character or appearance should be preserved or enhanced.

Local residents are encouraged to attend. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have relating to the appraisal that Daventry will carry out. The exhibition will be held in the Farndon Room, (behind the Library) School Street, Woodford Halse, on Tuesday 19th February from 3:30-6:30pm.

If you cannot attend the exhibition but have questions, you can direct them to the District Council either by email to or by telephone on 01327871100.

You can find out more about Conservation Areas and what they mean here at the Historic England web site.

You can also read what was said about this in the Woodford Halse Neighbourhood Development Plan.  (can also be downloaded from here.)
