Post Office Changes

The Post Office is proposing to move from their current premises on the corner of Castle Street and Church Street into Popsons Chemists.

They are currently running a consultation programme that allows you to give them your views on this change.

The Post Office claims this move will mean longer opening hours and improved accessibility while “the majority of Post Office products and services will still be available”.

You can find out more in this flyer.

Take part in the consultation here:  postofficeviews.co.uk  using the code for the Woodford branch,  29222699.

Consultation runs until 10th November. The change would occur in March or April 2018.

I see it that this is a well run business, albeit that it is of scruffy appearance ( lick of paint would sort it)The sisters who run this post office are marvellous, friendly and efficient, knowledgeable….I see it that it would be stealing their livelihood and the same parking issues would remain at both sites. Popssons is a great chemists, but leave them to their own and let these girls carry on providing the good service they always deliver.

Nice ladies in the Post Office but both the inside and outside of the building are run down and dirty, where Popsons is clean, nearer to Station court for the seniors of the village and closer to the other village shops.
