More News From The Planning Group
Bob Snedker, Chairman of Woodford-cum-Membris Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, has provided an update….
The village has now managed to gain a grant of £4,775 to assist us in creating the Neighbourhood Plan. This means that we have the best part of £8,000 and can instruct a Consultant to help in the preparation of the plan.
There is to be a meeting on the 23rd. June at 7:00 in the Memorial Hall and if you have an interest in the development of the plan you are very welcome to attend. Mr Michael Wellock of Kirkwells will be running the meeting as he has considerable experience in the creation of Neighbourhood Plans.
The Village Plan Group is keen to make sure that views from all areas of village life are represented. We want to make sure that local businesses, youth groups, clubs and organisations, and residents both from within the various parts of the village and in the wider area covered by the parish. So, if you would like to find out more of what is happening please come along on the 23rd.
