Did you know that Northampton has its very own symphony orchestra – an amateur orchestra that produces professional performances? Members of the orchestra are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and the orchestra performs in a number of venues in and around Northampton.

Last night in St Mathew’s Church, Northampton, the 75 strong orchestra performed pieces by Mozart, Schumann and Bruckner.

The orchestra performs regularly – their next concert is on Saturday 18th April and will features Dvorak, Richard Strauss and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony Number 1 in D Minor.
