…. in 1977, as part of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations, a pair of commemorative gates was erected in the village.
The only trouble was that, because they are always open, hardly anyone notices them.
As part of the recent renovations at the Dryden Hall the gates have been closed.
That gave everyone a chance to see them as they were meant to be seen. Did you spot them?
