Help Spot Speeding In Woodford : Volunteers Needed
Community Speed Watch is one of a number of local policing initiatives. Parish Councillor and Woodford’s Highway Warden, Pat Knight has contacted the relevant agencies today regarding setting up a scheme in Woodford. They are sending him all the relevant paperwork on Monday to initiate the scheme.
It cannot go ahead unless the scheme gets the volunteers it needs. If you are interested you need to get in touch with Pat to let him have your names so that he can get the paperwork sorted to put before the Parish Council on Tuesday next week.
Don’t miss this chance.
The Parish Council did try to get this going earlier in the year and asked for volunteers via the WOW but received the names of only 3 people willing to volunteer but 10 or 12 are needed. If all the people who have said they are willing to support it and sign up to it on the various posts on Facebook come forward, we will have more than enough but in case you haven’t seen Pat’s appeal on Facebook or missed the appeal in the WOW now is your opportunity.
Pat has volunteered to be the coordinator.
