library2Woodford’s Library has a range of lending services,  as well as a collection of useful books on the history of the village and the local area.

It’s also possible to use the Library’s broadband internet connection and photocopier and to hire space during closed times. The full list of services is available at the Northamptonshire County Council web site.

The library is currently scheduled for closure by the County Council but we are trying to keep it open as a Community Library. If you would like to know more or would like to volunteer your help, contact Pat Darby ( who is coordinating library activities on behalf of the Parish Council.

Normal opening times are:-

Wednesdays from 10.00 to 2. 00pm (staffed with volunteers).

Thursday and Friday from 2.00 to 6.00.

However Friday, 14th September, due to short notice and lack of staff the library will be open only from 2.00 until 4.00 and staffed by volunteers.
