Bins Please!

A Reminder from the Parish Council

To all village residents, but especially those in Sydney Road, Castle Road and Percy Road.

The Council knows that some residents may find it difficult to keep their recycling bins off the street but they can cause problems for passers by.

Some bins are left out all week in places where pedestrians, especially wheelchair or buggy users or parents with push chairs and prams have to move into the roadway to get by. The problem is made worse by limited parking and vehicles parking on pavements.

Please do not leave your waste bins on the footpaths where they prevent pedestrians using the paths safely.

Obviously, this is dangerous. The Council is sure that no one would want to be responsible for an accident, so please take your bins in as soon as possible after collections on Mondays.
