2014 Carers Awards

Do You Know A Carer Who Deserves Recognition?

Many people choose not to describe themselves as a carer – it’s just something they do for someone they care about. This Jane Roebuck Carers Awards 2014 is your opportunity to do something for them.

The Northamptonshire Carers Awards were named in honour of Jane Roebuck who spent many years fighting for the rights of carers and supporting carers in Northamptonshire. The awards recognise and celebrate the great work of carers of all ages from around the county.

If you know someone who devotes their time to looking after someone else and think they deserve recognition for the hard work and support they provide, or you are a carer who has received support from your GP or school to help you with you caring responsibilities, then why not make a nomination for this year’s awards?

The 2014 Northamptonshire Carers Awards will take place on Wednesday 29th January at Rushton Hall and will feature the following award categories:

  • Carer of the Year 2013 (18+)
  • Young Carer of the Year 2013 (Under 18)
  • Best GP Practice supporting Carers
  • Best School supporting Carers
  • Best School Staff Individual supporting Young Carers
