Ollie Jaycock, the chef at Red Lion at Culworth, is taking part in Bike London 100 to raise money for the Rays of Sunshine children’s charity.
Rays of Sunshine grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the United Kingdom. They have given Milly Adkins some of the very best magical days of her life. She has got to meet her idols JLS, been to Disneyland Paris for her 10th birthday and been to the Royal Albert hall to see a number of groups including JLS perform.
Milly’s family, watching her go through what they describe as a long and hard seven years, see that Rays of Sunshine have given her some of the most amazing memories to get her through it.
As a way of saying thank you to Rays of Sunshine, Millie’s Uncle Ollie has joined their team to take part in this mammoth task.
Alex Adkins is appealing for sponsorship on behalf of Ollie. Donations can be made through Ollie’s just giving page: www.justgiving.co.uk/Olliejaycock
